Strathspey Estate lies on the western slopes of the Central hills, which stretches from the foothills of Sri Lanka’s legendary and world famous mountain “Adams Peak” across the borders of protected wilderness of undulating gradients. Bearing a Scottish origin name, Strathspey estate is located at an elevation of 4,200 ft (1,300m) above mean sea level in the tea grown region of Upcot (Nissanka Uyana) that comes within the purview of Nuwara- Eliya District. Stimulated by the Dimbula regional characteristics of refreshingly mellow cup, STRATHSPEY BOP Special tea brews to a thick, coloury cup with a fine golden ring and coppery bright infusion. During the Western quality season between March and May when the air is crisp and cool by day while the nights are cold and windy, the inherited quality characteristics will enhance.
